Whee~
I am feeling very tired but i'm also feeling very smart. Muahahha. So i tink i shall finish my econs vjc mcqs due tomolo and study for the timed-prac. Managed to wormed the qn out of ms tan. Call me smart. muahahha.
Its a little unfair though. I felt a little uncomfortable knowing that i'd an unfair advantage but then again, its just a timed-prac, so its no big deal. And even if i didn't worm the qn out of ms tan, i'd probably know the qn in the morn, courtesy of either ade or van. Well, if you're thinking how morally impaired i am, you can go get the qns yourself too. Nobody's stopping you.
This brought me to the idea of fairness and unfairness. Let's discuss this today.
Some people are born with everything and they lead a pratically perfect life. Here's an example, let's call her beatrice.
She lived in Beverly hills at Grange road. My sis went to her house and she can't stop gushing about it. Ok, anyway, she's also a netballer in the nationals under-17, in a SAP school and score straight As for all her tests and exams. You can probably guess how popular she is by now, so i shan't elaborate on that.
Meanwhile, on the other side of the world, you've someone who seemed to be 'weird'. Yeah, i currently know some, well, if you know what i mean, but they don't read my blog, so heck. On a personal level, i think that they are actually very very nice people, with good and morally upright characters. They just lack social skills, that's all. But you know that they are people who're kinda sweet. Yes, she sent me a message asking if i'm feeling better when i'm absent for days, when in fact, i'm somewhere in Orchard or in front of the tv, having decided to pon school and take a breather. Well, anyway, the world just ain't fair.
As George Orwell puts it in animal farm, "Some animals are more equal than others."
Here's a perfect example today. The arts students had to sit at the top floor for bridge today. I hate walking along the railings. They give me a sense of vertigo. I always feel as if i'm going to fall over the railings any moment.
Another perfect example. Your gp teacher puts you in a "i will pick on you club" for no rhyme or reason and kept asking you to answer questions during his lesson. Worse still, he began to pick on you even during mass civics. Wth! He shld pick on someone his own size (the guys) ha! or those who called him a flying pig. hahha. Instead, he chose to pick on someone who is like the most innocent soul in this world.
Just look at this GROSSLY unfair treatment.
Just what is the world coming to?
Anyway, i think the poverty video made by gerry toh and huilin??? is really good. At that moment, i felt like donating all the money i'm saving for a crumpler to UNICEF. But then again, we shouldn't let our hearts rule our head and act on impulse. Hahhaha.
However, that only applies to me, so people, pls go and donate!!
Ha, ok, its 11pm and i haven't started studying. I should really get started.
My current favourite song is "You and I both" by Jason Mraz. Zhiyen sent it to me last night and i've been listening to it non-stop since. He's pretty good, clear and sexy voice and all.
